1 /5 Natalia S: I approached this local salon as I had a positive couple experiences with stylist Victoria and many appointments with amazing nail specialist Nicole. Love the atmosphere of the salon! Negative experience with hairstyling pre-booked appointment for special occasions with Isabell-14th December 2023. First of all, poor management of time allocation for appointment and understanding the customer needs. The booking was made by Nail specialist and brief presence of owner (hair specialist). Owner has left time judgment for hair styling in the hands of beautician. I clear explained my needs for a hair styling appointment and impotence of 2 special occasions. I requested to see the stylist that I had in the past, but owner has suggested Esabell and beautician insured me that Isabell will do a good hair style upon my request. The graduate hair stylist has luck of basic technical skills – hair washed not well in messy way, hair was dry incorrectly thus, hot air almost causes the sculp burn. The blow dry hair was performed very badly, the hair was dry with freeze look and she could not make her mind how to start styling and was panicking about time limitation of the appointment. I waste my time and money. I came with better looking hair then left the salon as I was visited the Headmaster Salon just 4 days prior this appointment. I have to do it at home with limited time left. On mine complain the owner Elena had to idea how to manage the unhappy customer. The smile and comments were unprofessional. She has pointed that the specialist I would like to see would cost me £10 more now- this is unacceptable. It is up to me to decide what level of specialist I would like to see and how much to spend on services. I am happy to pay higher price but for a professional stylist. Isabell requires improvement of practical technical skill in the professional Hair academy. Elena- owner of the salon needs to learn how to admit her mistakes and value her customers. Thank for your reposnse, Elena I could have my appointment on Wednesday if we discussed prior. My hair hold style for a days if it is professionally. done. In professional salon I do expect to be advised what is more suitable for me on a special occasion. This was achieved once during a visit with Victoria ( left salon). I suggested politely at list twice that I would prefer to have curls done first and after to pull my hair on the back. After blow drying my hair become quite dried, frizzy in front, straight and no longer flexy for styling. Isabell continued complaint about time shortage and inaccuracy of service booking after 40 minutes Isabelle still was holding my hair and asking what to do so, I understood that she is struggling understand my needs and I stood up and mentioned that I am leaving politely. If she had problem to understand me, she could sick a help from you. At the cashier I asked Anna to contact you because I was not happy about service and thought we can discuss this further. Unfortunately, I have not seen any wiliness to find out about my experience at the salon from you. The time was wasted, hair was straight and dry of course, I become frustrated at the end knowing that I must sort my hair within a very short amount of time at home before travel to the event. Working as a demo model for many years with top professionals of UK and can recognize a good skills. Luckly I am regular customer (every 6 weeks ish) with other salon for over 10 years. Elena Von just local. I wish your to find a good replacement for Victoria and improve customer skills as you are facing customers.. 1 /5 Giggle Bytess: I called multiple salons in the area, asking about bridal hair styles and bridal make-up pricing. Each business was charging 400£ up, so I decided to book with Elena von hair, because on the phone Ive been told, theyll do my hair style for 90£ and make-up by professional make-up artist for 150£. I saw these prices acceptable. How wrong i was... I came over just for them to see my face and hair. They told me I had to do a trial. Ok, I attended trial. Ive been charged for hair 180£ and make-up up 120£. When I left, the hair literally started falling apart. Everything was messy, just not good, I felt that the look they had done on me was just cheap. Cheap look for luxury price. At some point, I was happy I attended the trial session, had an idea what they do and how they do it, because if Ill look like that on the actual wedding day, that would be disaster. Both of the women asked me for pictures, if I have an idea how Ill like to look... Well, I showed them pictures, but that didnt matter. The make-up ,,artist" had her own idea of make-up on me, she didnt care about what I wanted. She wasnt a professional make-up artist, shes just a beginner or somebody who is dreaming of being make-up artist. What she had done on me was poor, cheap looking, and unprofessional. She charged me 20£ for eye lashes, which i couldnt see in my eyes. The foundation she used was not matching my skin and turned super dark and shiny after a couple of hours. Both of them have been doing my hair and face at once, which was depressing, frustrating, painful, and uncomfortable. One of them pulling my hair and another one hitting me with brushes in my face. Rushing, just to save time and make more money. For the actual wedding day, i cancelled my nails appointment there, because they wanted to charge me 200£ for French manicure and pedicure, and I cancelled make-up as well, because I found somebody who actually done my bridal make-up extremely professionally and stunning, the way I wished, for 150£. I attended for hair and been picky, as she charged me again 180£ for almost the same hair style, but the result was nothing even close to what i showed her on the pictures. This place is just typical Eastern Europe womens style. Money money money, thats all they care about. Walking wallet, nothing else. I would avoid even looking at this salon from outside, not even thinking to step inside again.
