2 /5 Jessica Curley: I’m not usually one to leave negative reviews, but my recent visit to this salon for an eyelash lift and tint was incredibly disappointing — especially considering this wasn’t my first time.
What’s most frustrating is that I had the exact same treatment done by the same technician previously, and it was a completely different (and much better) experience. This time, however, the quality of service had drastically declined. It became clear that while the technician is capable, she simply couldn’t be bothered. The only difference was the staff members present — and their unprofessional behavior clearly set the tone.
During the treatment, product kept leaking into my eyes, which caused painful burning. At many points, the technician had to rub my eyeball quite hard to try and clear it. The end result was awful: lashes were uneven, with obvious gaps, and some hadn’t even been lifted at all. I left looking like I’d had a rough night out, not like I’d just come from a beauty treatment.
Adding to the discomfort, the environment was chaotic. Two staff members were loudly talking on speakerphone while another played videos at full volume. It felt like I was in someone’s living room rather than a professional salon.
This experience was unacceptable and incredibly disappointing. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this salon unless some serious changes are made to staff behaviour and service standards.
