Amina Art Ansari It was inspiring to have Durdana Ansari OBE, Honorary Captain, RN in support for the young group at Premier Kickboxing. Shes been an inspiration for our local communities for decades.
She is the one who thrown me into class after my struggle from Cochlear Implants surgery a year ago.
Understandably, with the recovering, I had confusion and needed a lot of patience to relearn sounds and moves all over again. In short, within 6 months I faced my fears and I can say these instructors are humanitarians as well as being extremely professional in making sure each individuals progress in all areas.
Not to forget, it is a hygienic, clean and welcoming space reflecting their work.
It is the ART and therapy in our moves, as well as being at home with all talented students from different walks of life. Who would have known in such a corner, we would connect on many levels and if a person like myself can move forward outside from special needs box than being stereotyped, imagine what an average child or adult can achieve?
I am extremely lucky and at the end of the day it has changed my life. Looking forward to dance through experiences and belts.
Carpe Diem!
