rachel joseph I cannot recommend Joshua Altback Hair Salon highly enough. For the first time in many years, I had Brazilian straightening at the salon, and Laura’s work was exceptional. I have had this treatment at many of London’s leading salons over the past 10–15 years and have experienced it at least two dozen times. Without hesitation, this was the best result I have ever had and truly worth every penny. I would not consider going anywhere else for this treatment. The salon itself is warm, welcoming, and impeccably run by Zeeba, who gives thoughtful and attentive care to every client. It is a truly special salon, led by the lovely Josh and supported by a highly talented, professional, and genuinely caring team. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Monique Simpson Almost didn’t post this review as I am so tempted to gate keep this national treasure! I’ve been living in West / South West London for 3 years now, and Tina is hands down the best nail tech I’ve been to. She’s kind, professional, creative and a perfectionist. Her work is consistent every time, and my nails always last so long and look super cute. She is the perfect nail tech - far better than Townhouse or any other chain store.

L LA I’ve been a client at Golden Eyelashes since around 2016, and I even followed Tunde when the salon moved nearby to Goldhawk Road, then back. Despite moving further away myself, I kept returning because her service is simply unmatched. During the pandemic however, like many, I stopped my visits during lockdown. After a couple of years of not getting my lashes done, I thought it would be more convenient to find something closer to home—but it was one disaster after another! My local experiences were frustrating, from irritated eyes to infections, to clumpy glued lashes and not a single lash tech seemed to understand the look I wanted. I knew I had to just brave the tube journey because Tunde has always been exceptional. She masters very sophisticated techniques with precision, has the utmost hygiene standards and always aces the exact style I ask for, whether it’s a subtle natural look or something more dramatic. Trust me, she is a rare find, and I genuinely appreciate the quality she consistently delivers. On top of being incredibly talented, Tunde is also lovely and a wonderful conversationalist, making every appointment a pleasure (unless I fall asleep and start snoring, in which case she lets me sleep like a baby on her comfy beautician bed). I would strongly encourage everyone to support her business, she’s worth every penny and every mile of the journey!

Adi I’ve been A customer of Jummy’s for a year now and I have been met with nothing but friendliness ,kindness and love. She treats you as if you are her own family and is very talented at what she does. Her work can only be fully appreciated by those who understand the high standard that she is working at. I let appointment with Eri to do microblading and microneddling as well. Reasonable prices! I recommendet 100%. You will not be disappointed!! ♥️♥️♥️

Roxy H The service was exceptional from start to finish! I had my hair coloured, cut, and my nails done, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The team are so attentive and make sure you feel comfortable the whole time. The atmosphere is amazing – welcoming, relaxing, and they even check in a few times to see if you’d like tea, coffee, or water, which makes such a difference when you’re there for a longer appointment. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend them!
