5 /5 Brooke Curtis: Fantastic massage by Laurie. Tucked away at the bottom of the leisure centre is a little haven. Laurie’s massage was one of the best I’ve ever had - firm and relaxing at the same time. Recommended.

5 /5 Maeve Allington: Went in to get my lashes lifted yesterday, service was amazing, Laurie was so welcoming and talked me through each stage of what she was doing. Price was unbelievably reasonable ! And my eyelashes have never looked better !!! I will definitely be going back :)

1 /5 Paulina Milewska: I have to start off on a positive note by saying that the lady that did my hollywood wax was super friendly and a lovely person. This is the reason I put off writing this review and was not going to write it at all. I decided to share this as I wouldnt want this happening to anyone else. Ive had a hollywood wax done once before with another company and at the time, I thought it was done badly as there were a few stray hairs left. I found out this is completely normal only after I completed my appointment at the Beauty Basement because something wasnt right. For nearly a month now I have had a lot of red, ugly, painful bumps since the visit at Beauty Basement. I had to endure this during my two week holiday abroad which is the last thing I wanted. Despite putting creams and aloe vera on the skin to calm it nothing is working. This is the opposite of my very first wax which was moderately painful but felt like nothing had happened after I left the salon. I have to say I was shocked at the amount of wax used during the second visit and the lady went over the same area a few times which I am told is not normal. Im just very disappointed as was really hoping to get a great result and am still paying the price. I wont be returing and I dont recommend this place for any waxing jobs.
