5 /5 Anna C.: My 7-year-old son joined the kickboxing class about a month ago, right in the middle of the term, and he was welcomed in straight away. The coaches, Mo and Baz, are incredibly kind, patient, and attentive. They make sure everyone feels included and supported, and the way they run the sessions — with calm, positive energy — really stands out.
Each child is encouraged to stay focused and involved. And while it’s only natural for younger ones to get a bit distracted now and then, the coaches gently guide them back without any pressure. They have a genuine way to connect with children — there’s so much patience and care in the way they guide and support each one.
Confidence grows as the children try new moves and see their progress. The trainers create an environment where it’s okay to make mistakes and keep trying, which helps build resilience and a positive mindset.
The atmosphere is so friendly and respectful — not just from the coaches, but from the whole group. My son genuinely looks forward to every class.
The best part is that they allow kids to progress at their own pace, so even in a group setting, each child can grow comfortably and confidently.
I’m really grateful we found this place, and I’d absolutely recommend Average Mo’s to any parent looking for a positive, supportive, and motivating environment for their children to build both physical strength and emotional resilience.
