2 /5 Hayley Edeki: I had a voucher brought for me from some work colleagues when I left my job ,I was very much looking forward to my treatments, when I phoned I wanted to book a hot stone massage ,shellac pedicure and eyebrow wax ,I was told I couldnt have a hot stone massage because they dont do them this time of year, she asked if I would be happy to have a alternative ,I agreed so upon arriving I was not given any choice.i went through to have a message and was basically given a normal massage.as a full time working carer I dont get to have treatments like this very often so was very disappointed.
When the massage had finished the lady went out so I could get dressed .
I then had a shellac pedicure,it all felt very rushed ,I was put in reception in the window with a foot spa on the floor that was dirty and only the bubbles worked one side .the first comment was made about my skin condition on my feet which made me feel very uncomfortable.
She went out the back and I heard her saying to her colleagues ,this is my 3rd pedicure today so had enough of them now .
She came over and gave a quick wipe over with some wash stuff .
Then I had to go into the room and sit on a couch to have the rest of feet done .she kept going in and out for different things.
It says there was a massage but I didnt get this at all ,only cream being rubbed in ,the oil as advertised was some drops that were put on and not even massaged in so went all in my shoes .it was not relaxing at all as it was so uncomfortable sitting on a bed having it done .
I then had a eyebrow wax ,the actual outcome was fine but kept being reminded of how bad my skin condition was in my ears .
I dont go much for treatments because of my skin condition because I get embarrassed ,so to have someone keep bringing it up really put me on edge.
I had a gift voucher amd as soon as I walked in the door she said your treatments wont be all covered,I already new this as was going to pay the extra .
I wont be returning and feel very disappointed from the greeting to the leaving .
