I went to this stylist by the name is Tia for tape-in extensions. She claimed she installed “just under 200g,” but the hair looked visibly thin, especially at the ends. I raised it respectfully — she agreed to fix it.
I arrived early for the correction appointment. She showed up late and then casually told me she forgot her keys. I waited outside the salon for 45 minutes — no urgency, no proper apology, just a shrug and a deflection.
During the fix, I asked her to cut one inch. She cut off nearly three, destroying the length I paid for. When I sent her before-and-after photos, she claimed it was “half an inch.” Then, when I challenged that, she responded “yeah”… and deleted the message when she realized how obvious the lie was.
This isn’t a case of miscommunication — this is someone who cannot own her mistakes, gaslights her clients, and puts her ego above professionalism. The way she handled every part of this — from the install, to the lateness, to the lie, to the cover-up — shows zero respect for client trust.
If you value your time, money, or hair, go elsewhere. I stayed calm, respectful, and patient throughout. She still managed to waste my time, ignore my boundaries, and then lie about it. Never again.
